Some of my favourite podcasts from 2020

We are living in the golden age of podcasts. No matter what your interests are and what you are curious about, the odds are that there’s a podcast for that. I used to listen to podcasts during my commute, but Covid put a stop to that. Over the last few months, I’ve resumed listening to podcasts while I’m out running. I’m grateful that there are so many incredibly smart people around the world that share their wisdom and know-how so freely. Here are some of the podcasts that I loved in 2020.

Peter Attia Drive with Peter Attia – If there’s one podcast that you want to listen to about all things health, make it this one. Peter is a brilliant doctor and an even better podcast host. Peter has had a huge impact on how I think about my health-related metrics, how I eat and how I exercise. My favourite episode(s) of the year- The various episodes with Matthew Walker covering all things sleep.

Invest Like the Best with Patrick O’Shaughnessy – A great podcast for founders, budding investors or anybody interested in learning about great businesses and leaders. My favourite episode of the year – The Next Wave of e-commerce with Katrina Lake

The Knowledge Project with Shane Parish – Another brilliant podcast that features in-depth interviews on diverse topics and leaders. My favourite episode of the year – Innovation v/s Imitation with Derek Sivers

The Tim Ferris Show with Tim Ferriss – The gold standard of podcasts. A must listen. There are far too many amazing episodes to pick my favourite.

Reply All with PJ Vogt and Alex Goldman -Amazing stories from around the world. PJ and Alex are brilliant storytellers and have amazing chemistry. I’ll skip picking a favourite episode; I can’t think of an episode I didn’t like.

How I Built This with Guy Raz – On this podcast, entrepreneurs from around the world talk about the companies they built and the challenges they faced along the way. My favourite episode of the year – McBride Sisters Wine
